All of us have an innate desire to please God, and be obedient to His calling on our lives.  It is the journey of discovering that purpose that can be challenging.  Project Inspired founder, Nicole Weider sits down and shares with us the vision behind her ministry and how God used her past to propel her into her God given destiny.

1. Discover God’s Plan.

Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.  Proverbs 19:21 NIV. We can have certain visions and ideas of what to do with our life; however, if our plans and purpose do not align with the Lord’s, he will either open or shut a door.

God uses natural talents and gifts to glorify him. Our gifts and talents don’t change.  All are special and unique!  It is how we use these talents that matters.

2. Don’t Despise Your Pain.

God uses our brokenness as an opportunity to build us into all he desires us to be, we have to submit to the process.

A trial can take us to a place where we realize that we need God.  It is in this place that God will lavishly love us and reveal his plan for our lives.

Nothing we go through is wasted.  There is always someone out there that needs to know your story.

3. There is No Expiration Date On Your Purpose.

When God does something that impacts you, know that is also meant to impact someone else.  You don’t have to wait 55 years to feel like you should help somebody.

Stepping into your purpose may seem scary, or you may feel so motivated that you dive in with both feet.  Either way it is vital to listen to God’s voice and obey his instruction.

We live in such a fast paced world and we sometimes try to rush hearing from God, but God is a God of timing.  It is important to get quiet and take time to listen to him.

Sometimes, God reveals things that may need to be changed or removed that you may not like, if you are obedient you will find blessing down the road.  He knows your eternal future.

God is not intrusive. He is the perfect gentlemen who stands at the door and gently knocks.  We have to be the ones to slow down, open the door and let him in. When we do that he can take us into the fullness of our purpose.

4. Garbage in Garbage Out.

As you navigate the journey into your purpose is certain that you absorb and digest things that are God honoring.  The more you honor God, the more God will reveal to you.

If you absorb and digest negativity, it will prevent you from growing in the Lord and can sidetrack you from your purpose.  Stay closely connected with His word, surround yourself around like-minded people that drive and encourage you!
